    HOW WE SHIP

    For orders weighing less than 150 lbs: we ship using Fed Ex and UPS.

    For orders weighing more than 150 lbs: we ship standard LTL freight using UPS, YRC, Saia, Fed Ex, Estes and other carriers, in partnership with Unishippers.

    The shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based, however other factors may affect your rate, including the size of your packaging, residential delivery, lift gate, and delivery notification services.

    FREIGHT ESTIMATE PRIOR TO CHECKOUT

    Prior to checkout, you can get an estimate on shipping for the items you wish to purchase. In the shopping cart, enter your Country, State/Province, and Zip/Postal Code. If you want to add other services (liftgate, inside delivery, etc.), be sure to check the appropriate box(es), then click on "Get A Quote".

    Production Time:
     
    All of our products are made to order. Some orders, such as lattice and fence panels may take up to 3 weeks to be made. Please call us if you have any unusual customization requests. There may be an additional charge.
     
    If you selected “1 day Unishipper” delivery, it means that once the product ships the travel time is estimated to take 1 day. Shipping and deliveries are made in accordance with the standard rules and regulations of these respective shippers. Arrival time for standard ground shipments is dependent on the distance of the package destination. Most LTL common carriers do not deliver on Saturday, Sunday or national U.S. holidays, Online Lumber Store does not deliver to post office boxes, shipping and handling are not refundable.
     
    Curbside Delivery:
     
    For deliveries in California we may choose to deliver via our own truck, if LTL is our chosen method, the product is thoroughly packed in a crate, or strapped to a pallet, then shipped via less-than-truckload (LTL) common carrier (such as Yellow Freight, UPS Freight, etc.) Once the shipment arrives to the destination terminal, the freight company will call the receiving customer to let them know it has arrived and to schedule delivery. The LTL common carrier will use a 28' or 48' tractor trailer unit to make delivery. The delivery will be made with one driver and the trailer will not have a lift gate, if you did not select that option for delivery. The customer must have someone on hand at delivery to provide assistance to the driver during unloading for both LTL or deliveries made with our own truck. Additional people may be required depending on the size of the order being delivered. It is the customer's responsibility to take the lumber inside the home. After unloading and before the driver leaves, the customer must inspect the order for damage, or discrepencies in specification. Very important, if the waybill has been signed with no issues and the driver leaves, we cannot return at our cost to pick up an item for repair. If the customer is willing to pay for transportation, we will be happy to accommodate and address the issue the best way possible. Product damage is rare, however, if damage is found the customer should note the damage on the Delivery Receipt (provided by the driver) and then sign. Contact us immediately and a claim will be filed. The delivery time is 1-3 from the time the order was placed. All of our products are made to order.  Minor damage like a scratch or even replacement of a piece, is usually best handled through repairs which are done at your home. We will send new parts for replacement, if necessary. If your shipment is missing any pieces, have the driver note the shortage on the waybill. Advise us of any shortage and we will trace the shipment. If the shortage cannot be located within a reasonable time, the missing items will be replaced. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

    If you choose to pick up your order, please call for an estimation on when the order will be ready. All of our products are made to order.
